Frequently asked questions
How do I play?
Drag anywhere on the screen to move your barge. Before each launch, slide the orb along the barge to aim (the further from the centre, the steeper it flies), then tap to launch. Hold your finger down to fire rockets when you have them. Settings and How to play on the title screen explain every brick and power-up.
How do I open the next tomb?
Clear the last level of the tomb you are in, and collect enough stars overall. Each level has three goals worth a star each, and a locked tomb on the map shows how many stars it needs. Replaying a level to meet goals you missed earns the stars you did not have.
What are gems for?
Gems restore relics in the Treasury. A caught gem is worth 1, a treasure pot 2, and every new star 5. Restoring all four relics of a tomb unlocks that tomb's barge, which you can then use in every level.
Do I need an internet connection?
No. The whole game plays offline. A connection is only used to load ads; without one, the optional video rewards are simply unavailable.
Why do I see ads, and when?
Ads keep the game free. A small banner sits under the tomb map and the level list. A full-screen ad can appear when you leave a level's result screen, at most once every 3 finished levels and 2.5 minutes, never for brand-new players. No ad ever appears while you are playing a level. Rewarded videos (2 more lives, or double gems) only play when you tap them.
How do I change my ad privacy choices?
Open Settings → Privacy choices in the game. The button appears where privacy laws give you a choice (the EEA, the UK, Switzerland and US states with privacy laws). You can also turn off ad personalisation or reset your advertising ID in your phone's settings, usually Settings → Google → Ads.
Where is my progress saved? Can I move it to a new phone?
Progress is saved only on your phone. It is not uploaded anywhere and not included in Android backups, so it cannot be moved to another phone, and uninstalling the game or clearing its storage deletes it.
How do I delete my data?
Uninstall the game, or go to Android Settings → Apps → Tomb Breaker → Storage → Clear storage. We hold no data about you on any server. For advertising data held by Google, see the Privacy Policy.
Which languages are supported?
15: English, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), French, German, Italian, Russian, Turkish, Arabic, Hindi, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean and Chinese (Simplified and Traditional). The game follows your phone's language, and you can change it in Settings.
Which phones does it run on?
Tomb Breaker runs on Android 7.0 and newer, on phones and tablets.
The sound is off. How do I turn it back on?
Open Settings from the title screen and switch Music and Sound on. Also check your phone's media volume.
